Joaquín "Quini" Béjar Martínez

Born on March 25, 1968 in Linares (Jaén), Joaquín Béjar Martínez has left a significant mark both on the playing field and on the training pitch.
His career as a player began in 1987, standing out in teams such as Linares, Alcoyano, Cartagena, Egidio, Levante, Córdoba, Extremadura, Xerez, Talavera, Toledo, Las Palmas and Granada. Known in the football world as "Quini", he established himself as a center forward in the 2A and 2B divisions. His most notable moment was during the 1996-97 season, where he became "Nacional's" top scorer with an impressive 29 goals.
In 1992, Joaquín made the leap to professionalism, establishing himself as a lethal forward on the field of play. His playing career ended honorably at the end of 2005.
Not satisfied with his achievements as a player, Joaquín embarked on a new journey as a coach. From 2013 to 2019, he played key roles at Atlético Benamiel Club de Futbol and Torremolinos Senior B. Professional Football Coach under the Spanish Football Players Association (AFE) in San Pedro de Pinatar, Murcia, from September 2019 to May 2023. Holder of the prestigious UEFA-PRO National Football Coach Title, Joaquín honed his tactical and technical approach with experts such as Joaquín Caparrós, Santiago Rivera and Marcos Alvarez.
His passion for football led him to participate in courses and workshops led by prominent professionals, such as Unai Emery, Pepe Mel and Pep Guardiola. His role as Professional Football Coach under the Spanish Football Players Association (AFE) in San Pedro de Pinatar, Murcia, from September 2019 to May 2023, also in Costa Rica and Cape Verde; represents the culmination of his commitment to the development of football at a professional level.
